It is used in the treatment and management of hypertension.
It promotes cardiac health and cardio-vascular functions.
It also helps to reduce nervousness and anxiety.

Ingredient of H.T.Kot Tablet:
Each tablet contains-
Jatamansi (Nardostachys jatamansi)- rhizome- 200mg
Sarpagandha (Rauwolfia serpentina)- root- 100 mg
Rudraksha (Elacocarpus sphaericus)- seed- 100 mg
Dose
Dosage of H.T.Kot Tablet:
1 tablet twice daily, or as directed by the physician.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Habit forming
Is
this medicine habit forming? Does it create dependence? Can we stop it after a
few months of usage?
This
medicine is not habit forming. After using for the prescribed period, your
doctor would gradually decrease the dose and eventually stop it. Follow your
doctor’s instructions for gradual decrease of dose and stopping. Usually it
does not cause any ill effects.

I feel side effects like skin dryness and hair falls (silky thin hair) after 3 strips (30tabs), daily one morning after food having HT-KOT of Kottakkal, Instead of, I advised to have Homeo medic Rauwolfia serpitina 3-5 drops in water in the morning.

Hi, you can take HT Kot at night, while continuing Telma in the morning. It might not be needed for life long.
It is useful. Usually there are no side effects.
Your doctor will decide the tablet duration.
Hi Doctor, I just started taking HTKOT. How exactly it reduces BP? Immediately after taking it like the allopathic medicines or it takes time?? I feel like my heart rate going up immediately after taking the medicine.

Hi..I started this medicine two month back .but my BP become down only little.like before was 150/100 after taking medicine it became 145/95..what about if i take thrice in a day.
