Glycem Capsule provides adequate sugar control in diabetic patients devoid of hypoglycemic shock and allergic manifestation. It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Capro Labs Exports India Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore. However, the danger of hypoglycemia is always present and requires constant medical supervision. Further, presently available oral anti-diabetic agent may not prevent complications associated with madhumeha.
Glycem is a balanced multi action formula having scientifically proven herbs and bhasmas for their known action on madhumeha.

Diabetes mellitus – Madhumeha
Hyperglycemia [intolerance to or not responding to other oral anti-diabetic drugs]

Composition of Glycem Capsule:
Each 500 mg capsule contains-
Nimba-bark (Azadirachta indica)- 50 mg
Haridra-rhizome (Curcuma longa)- 50 mg
Vana haridra-rhizome (Curcuma aromatica)- 50 mg
Amalaki-fruit (Embelica officinalis)- 50 mg
Madhuyasti-root (Glycyrrhiza glabra)- 90 mg
Naga bhasma – 10 mg
Ekanayakam-root & bark (Salacia reticulate)- 50 mg
Khadira-sara (Acacia catechu)- 90 mg
Lodhra-bark (Symplocos racemosa)- 50 mg
Vanga bhasma – 10 mg.
Dose
Dosage of Glycem Capsule:
2 capsules thrice daily depending upon sugar level, or as directed by the physician.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
