Alargin Tablets is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine, manufactured by Ajmera Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. Indore. It is used in the treatment of allergy, urticaria etc. 

Uses and effect on dosha

Alargin Tablets uses: As per the claims made by the manufacturer, it is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment of allergy, inflammation, allergic dermatitis, acute and chronic urticaria.

Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata and Kapha.

Dose and duration of use

Alargin Tablets special Dose:  
1 – 2 tablets, 2-3 times a day, or as directed by physician.

How long to take?
It can be taken for upto 3- 4 months based on doctor’s advice.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Shunti – Ginger Rhizome – Zingiber officinalis – 20 mg
Patra – Cinnamomum tamala – 20 mg
Maricha – 20 mg
Vidanga – False black pepper – Embelia ribes – 20 mg
Pippali – Long pepper fruit – Piper longum – 20 mg
Nagakeshara – Mesua ferrea – 20 mg
Twak – Cinnamon – Cinnamomum zeylanicum – 20 mg
Musta – Nut grass (root) – Cyperus rotundus – 20 mg
Haritaki – Chebulic Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia chebula – 20 mg
Ela – Cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum – 20 mg
Vibhitaki – Belliric Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia bellirica – 20 mg
Amalaki – Indian gooseberry fruit – Emblica officinalis Gaertn. – 20 mg
Haridra – Turmeric rhizome – Curcuma longa – 200 mg
Nishotha – Operculina turpethum – 20 g
Excipients – quantity sufficient.

Side effects and precautions

Side effects and precautions: 
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
Children, pregnant ladies and lactating mothers should take this medicine only under medical supervision.
Over-dosage may cause mild gastric irritation.
keep out of reach and sight of children.
Store in a cool dry place.
Take this medicine only till the prescribed time, in the prescribed dose only.
